What makes you happy?

Now that we are all facing the global economic crisis, it's getting more and more difficult to feel satisfied in life. How much do all these financial troubles affect you? What is it that makes you happy?

Going to the Circus

This is the composition one of my students, Inês, has written in her last test. I think she did pretty well, so I decided to upload it and share with all of you. If you like it, please, leave a comment.

We are from Spain, Extremadura. Our High School name is "IES Gabriel y Galán" in Plasencia
My students ´ names are: Victoria, Estela and Jorge. They are 12 years old and are in the bilingual section of our high school.
They immediately accepted the challenge because they love English and are not afraid of being in front of an audience and have very good memory, above all Victoria, who is the travel agent in the sketch

Love Story

This is a story my students wrote a few days ago. I provided the pictures and the layout. We read a similar story, had some comprehension about it and then I asked them to write a love story. Here's one of them.
I can send the original, without the text, if you need it.
Hope you like it.

Starting our Blog

Hi friends
I've just pmed you, so now, it goes like this.
Later, I would like to have a make over on the main picture; I would like you to send me some clipart which you think is representative of your country/nationality, so that I can make a picture of all of us. We have time, no need to hurry, when you get some free time to think about, ok?

Main aims
To make our students’ projects available, so that, either students, or teachers, can profit from others’ ideas, use, reuse, modify, get inspired.... by them.

Help kids and teens to know, discover, understnad, face the differences around our countries.
Later, we can think about some kind of penpalls, to let them Exchange letters, postcards, mails, whatever.
Now, the tutorial
Why is it necessary?
Because each one of us will upload his/her own students’ works.
Don’t forget, this is OUR blog.
I know many of you know much more than me about this stuff; I count on each one to improve the blog
